Publisher's preview

This book is the result of the author's field observation, coming across certain flowers and inventories.

Nathalie Clot Havond wanted to draw up a comprehensive list of the wild medicinal plants found in Provence.

Of more than 150 plants or trees with medicinal properties, our author has selected fifty, presented here in detail. Each species has its own practical, detailed index card listing its botanical properties, preferred habitat, main medicinal components, as well as methods of collection and practical use, specifically in herbal medicine, phytotherapy, aromatherapy, homeopathy, gemmotherapy, and not forgetting the flower elixirs of the well-known Dr. Bach,

This richly illustrated book is intended for a wide audience wishing to benefit from the many bounties of Mother Nature, and is both simple and precise.

Author bio

Trained and graduated from IMDERPLAM (Mediterranean Institute of Research and Study on Medicinal Plants), Nathalie Clot Havond has since taken over its management alongside one of the founders, Claudine Luu.

Our author also teaches at this renowned school and liaises with various organizations to organize conferences, workshops, etc in the Alpilles (her favorite location because she's originally from Saint-Remy-de-Provence) but also throughout the whole of Provence and further afield..
